Results Bass trombone : Holdaway (Blenheim), 113 points; Berminghain (Wanganui Garrison), 112; Boyd (Wanganui Garrison), 110. ' Tenor Horn: Hansen (Nelson), 115; Bbw&s (Wanganui Garrison), 111; .Wimsetfc (Nelson), 106. Double B i"lat Bass: Hughes (Nelson Garrison), 116; Lang (Gisborne), 112; Spurdle (Wanganui City), 104. Trombone Trios: Wanganui Garrison, 119; Blenheim, 118; Petone, 101. The final test was played in the presence of el very large crowd. Wanganui scored 135, and Petone 126, makinglheir totals; 386 and 326, Wanganui thus winning tho championship. The Besson Shield now becomes their property. In the B /Grade Nelson and Gisborne tied, with 130, Wanqanni City next with 116.
