La Milo, Ferdinand Eggena (her husband),' and Percy Easton (a motor car agent) were chargcxl at Bojv street last month with obtaining £7000 worth of jewels by falsa pretences from W. Wood, jeweller; of Brook ' street, London. It was alleged that Eggena represented himself as the owner of 25 care, and obtained the jewels, which he afterwards pawned on La Mho's behalf. Eggone had previously attempted to pawn a pearl necltlaco worth £30,000. The accused wero remanded. Eggena being , allowed bail of £2000.'Easton £2000, and La Milo £5000.
