SI 6s; Assembly expenses, 1 £3; aged and infirm ministers' fund, £3 10s; Knox College. £1; youth of I ho. cluirdi fund. £1 12s; and the :ongregalion's ,sp:cial cullcction for the Dunklin Orphanage amounting to £3 12$. s'hn total rcceipls for the year were £356 15s lid, and the disbursements £343 14s 3d, leaving, after providing for trust moneys, an available balance of £5 15s 2d. The Treasurer, in speaking to the motion that the balance sheet bo received and adopted, oppressed-(lie opinion that the congregation was both liberal and '.oval. Tile speakers for the overling wore the Revs. .1. Cliisholm and S. W. Clinic, Mr Cliisholm taking for the subject cf his address "The Essentials of Life," ami Jlr Curric "Loyalty." Several anthems were rendered during tho evening by the choir under th' leadership of Mr Patrick. Miss V. Pat-rick presiding at the <*.vin. Soles were also given by Miss Jean jt'Kenzie, Miss Koso Patrick, awl Messrs Witrr and Robertson. The usual votes of thanks being accorded, a very pleasant-, succcssful, and profitable- meeting was closed by the pronouncing o! the benediction.
