BARQUE IN A CYCLONE.
A NARROW ESCAPE. SYDNEY, March 17. The barque Phnro*, which Ims arrived from Antofagasta, narrowly • escaped foundering. She was' caught in a. cyclone when she was 80 miles off the Cook group, and was i.lnown cu her beam ends.
Her ballast shifted, and the crew awaited the end, when a change in tho wind caused the vessel to right herself, only to be thrown over on the other sid?. She again righted when the weather moderated.
