Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright OTTAWA, March 15. The Dominion Government is advancing six million dollars to the Montreal Harbour Commission to provide additional port facilities. The contract with the New Zealand Shipping Company provides for a.monthly sailing, Montreal being the port in summer and St. John in winter, calling at Halifax also. The subsidy 'is £2000 a month, and the freight rates are not to exceed those from similar ports in the United States.
