ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of this organisation was held last evening in the hull of the Trinity Methodist Church, under the control of the president (tho Rev. W. Grigg). The annual report stated, inter alia, that tho year hu-d been one of changes. The president (the Rev. N. A. Davis) had re-' moved to America, but his place had been worthily idled by the Rev. W. Grigg. The secretary (Mr Newall) had also lett Dunedin, his place being taken by MiWilliams. The committee- had_ held 11 monthly meetings and 12 executive meetings during tho year. The attendance, might havo been better. During the year a mission was hold in the Garrison Hall, and group meetings had been held at Port Chalmers, Ra.vensbou.rnc,, North-East Valley, Abbotsford, South ' Duncdin, and Kaikorai. Thanks were-due to many'for work done in connection with these cll'orts. Thirty societies were'in tho union. The largest amount collected for mission purposes was secured by the St. Andrew Presbyterian Society—£37 12s. The Lookout Committee reported that it had been hampered for want of workers. An effort had been made to'visit every afTuiiated society. Societies needed to keep steadily in viowi the ideal participation promised in the pledge, and as an aid subjects should bo chosen on which Endcavourors could speak by means of actual experience. The Endeavour movement should appeal to more males than it did, as Christ was the pattern of a perfect type of manhood. Tho total receipts for''the past year had been £13 6s 9cl, and the expenditure £39 18s 9d, leaving a credit balance of £3 7s Zd—tho largest for a number of years. In conclusion, thanks were tendered the Hanover Street Baptist Church for tho use of a room for meetings.

Tho report was adopted, as was tho balance sheet, read by the treasurer (Mr C. W. Jackson).
