TROUT IN LAKE ROTORUA
(I'eb United Pjiess Association.) WELLINGTON, March 14 ■ The Government has decided to have investigations made into the cause of the disease which has affected the trout in Lake Eotorun. Probably an immediate step will be to regulate spawning by eliminating inferior trout from the spawning grounds. Some scientific examination into the wholo matter will probably be necessary, and although a large number r>f suggestions have already been made further opinions will probably be obtained' from authoritative sources.
