Four new members h«l been, admitted on the prcccdhiE buiulay, bringing the number on the roll to 34. ' The reports of the various subcommittees were predated to the meeting, .and adopted after general discussion. The Soamens Visiting Committee reported having visited seven ship* during the last six week* ■ cud brought men up to churcli from several of them. Magazines had been dis N tnbuted, and gratefully received in" every ease: The committee had applied to th-i Seamen s Guild,' London, to be' registered as a branch of the guild, and had ordered badges. The committee- hoped to'obtain a. ' portable organ soon, and would be glad ot magdzines or money to carry on its work. The Mible class leader (Mr W. A. Curzon-Siggor.s) reported that the class hadcommence;' again dn February 6. The', leader desired to see more members in this class, and the vicar (Canon. Curzoii-Siggeisi spoke of the need of such a.class. The Door Committee's report showed that this committee- had proved very useful in help-' ins strangers to the church to scats', etc. The Visiting Committee reported having done a good deal of visiting in connection J" 1 " '»<> Rev. Woollcombo's visit last month. The Repairs Committee had cleaned up the grounds of The Church, and put- in some very useful bookshelves whero required > After the report was read the committee was tluoikcd for its work by Mr Talboy6 (churcshwurden) on behalf of' the : parish and vestry. It was decided to have the montlrly meeting on the first Thursday in each month for the future. The meeting was then closed with prayer by the vicar.
