SYDNEY, December 3, Th« Labour party caucus has formulated a proposal for the settlement of the strike, but its .nature is a secret. It will bo submitted to the Strike Congress today.
The interview between Mr Wade, Mr Learmouth, and Mr Hughes proved fruitless.
Act-ion will be taken to-day to appoint a board under the Industrial Dispute Act to deal with the trouble.
