Resenting a criticism of tho singing of his wifo (Madamo Clara Butt), Mr Kenneifoy Rumford boxed th* ears of Tho Times' critic, Mr Collis, in tho vestibule of tho Quean s Hall. Mr Rumford refused Tho Times' demand for an apology, alleging that the so-called criticism was one of <1 serifs of attacks upon his wife. Mv Collis has commenced Polico Court proceedings.
