The annual meeting of the Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union was held to-day, and in addition to a large attendance of members there was also "a number of members of the Genera! Assembly present. The report recorded a most' successful year. The amount gathered during the year, apart from church collections, was £1426, which was £127 more than last year. In view of the fact that the next Goneral Assembly will meet in Auckland, the officers of the union were elected from that centre, as follow :—President, Mk Monro; vice-president, Mrs Gray Dixon; secretary, Mrs Eliot: treasurer. Miss Brighiun.
