FORESTRY.

The usual fortnightly meeting of Court Bride of Green Island was held in tills courtroom (St. Mark's Hall) last night, and was presided over by C.R. Bro. (i. Price. There was also a good attendance of members. There were no sick members reported. It was agreed to hold a church parade at the Abbotsford I'rimitivo Methodist Church on a Sunday to bo arranged. The Secretary reported a net increase of eight members for the past half-year. Ths balance sheet was also read, and showed the- court to bo in a progressive state. I'.C.K. Bro. Watson was presented with a beautifully-framed and glazed certificate, and neck ribbon. The presentation was made by P.C.R. Bro. A Kano, of Court St. Andrew, in a brief, but appropriate, •speech, and P.C.R, Bro. Watson briefly and suitably thanked the court for the gift. Several other brothers congratulated Bro. Watson on his successful term of office ;uid honed that lie would still visit, tho court and give them tho benefit of his experience. It was agreed to pay an official visit to Court Pride of Dmiedin on Tuesday, July 27. Owing to tho annual social being held, unavoidably, on the next court night, it was resolved to hold dio meeting' 011 tho : Wednesday evening following. Resolved, that a. challenge bo issued to tho P.A. Lodgo to a game of football, and that, Bro. Love make arrangements. There was one nomination for membership. Accounts presented were passed for payment. The receipts for the evening were £5 18s 6d.
