The fortnightly meeting of Pioncoi Lodge, L0.0.F., wasfield in the Oddfellows' Hall, Rattray street. Valentine, as Acting G.M., D.D.G.M. Br o . W. Smith as Acting and P.D.D.G.M. Bro. D. Swinton as Acting U Mar. proceeded to instal into their respective offices tho following;—J.P.G., Bro. A. Scott; N.G., Bro; S. Pudncv; V.G., Bro. R. J. Craig; secretary, Bio. F. M. Arthur; treasurer, P.G. Bro. G. Latimer; N.G.'s Supporters—R., P.G J3ro. H. White, L, Bro. F. Hubble; L., P.G. Bro. J.. Michio, jun.; S.S.--R., Bro. M'Auloy; L., Bro. Sherlock; chaplain, Bro. H. Best; warden, Bro Fimllay; conductor, P.G, Bro. J. Anderson, jun.; guardian, Bro. Eutledge; auditors (re-elected)—P.G. 's Bros. 11. Why to, R. M'Kinlay, and J. Michie, sen. The lodge accorded a vote of confidence in the present trustees—Bros. T. Cole, F.G., T. Christie, and C. Johnson,—and in tho lodge, surgeon (Dr E. J. O'Neill). The Acting G.M. apologised for the absenco of G. Sire Bro. W. Reid, and congratulated the lodge members and wished tho newly-elected a prosperous term of office, and on behalf of the members of Pioneer Lodge he presented the retiring I.P.G. (Bro. .las. Anderson) with a handsome jewel, eulogising the manner iu which he had performed the duties which had devolved upon him during tho last three yWs. Bro. Anderson Chunked the lodge suitably. The meeting terminated with votes of thanks to the Grand Lodge j officers, and also to visiting brethren For the former, the Acting G.M, (Bro. i Valentine) responded, and for the latter | P.G. Bro. C. M'Pcako (Leith). I.oith Lodge, 1.0.0. F., held its usual half-yearly meeting at the Oddfellows' Hall, Albany street, on Monday evening. Members and visitors combined to make a fair attendance. During tho evening four candidates were initiated and one proposed On behalf of the ledge, Bro. Skinner, P.G., | pre-sontrcl N.G. Bro. Johnson with a handsome clock suitably inscribed as a memento U|)on the occasion of his marriage. Many congratulations were tendered. Bra. Waltor Smith, D.D.G.M., A. 11. Valentine, Grand Warden, and D. M. Millar, Post Grand Master, in tho chair, installed the officers as follows:—II. Johnson, N.G. (reelected); F. Morgan, V.G.; tho secretary (Miller) and treasurer (Fea) were re-elected; warden, Bro. Laney; conductor, Bro. Valentine; guardians—Bros. Chodwick and I'orsyth; S. supporters—Bros, Wansbonn and Roy; N.G.'s supporters-Bros. Markby and Nichol; V.G.'s supporters-Bros. Burns and Haig; clwplain-Bro. Chafi. M'Pcak. Rio. Holderncss explained his inability to accept tho offico of N.G., at which regret was expressed, lie having rendered good service a3 vice-chairman. The Grand Lodge oflioers predicted a prosperous term, and congratulated the lodge upon its staff of officera. The Pioneer of Duncdin Lodge, No. 2, J.0.G.T., held its usual weekly meeting on Itiesday evening. Tho chair was occupied by Bro. T. 11. Dalton, L.D. The programme was arranged by the Scott family, assisted by Bro. J. W. Barrio, C.T. Tho following- is a list of the various performers : —Sis. Scott, sen., Sis. N. A. L. and S. Scott, Sis. .VI. Howie, Sis. Bowie, Sis Davia, Sis. E. Kennedy, Sis. Holbrook, Sis. Johnston, and Sis. 0. Cooper; Bros Barrio, J. Patcrson, A. Howie, W. Howie, and Bro. Logic. The programme consisted of piano solos, songs, duets, tableaux farces, and a cornet solo. Tho chairman delivered a stirring address urging triooe present who were not already members to join the order. A vote of thanks was passed to the performers, after which the gathering closed by singing the National Anthem.
