COMPLAINT IN AUCKLAND,
(Per United Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, April 15. Great indignation is felt amongst the farming community at. Buckland at the failure of (lis Hallway Department to supply sufficient trucks for the carriage of ohaff. For some weeks past complaints have been rife of the inadequate supply of waggons, but the position this morning readied an acute stage. Every available vehicle in the filling has been filial, the loading bank and a. goods-filed are slackcd with chall, and in the fields a Jarge quantity h lying ready for carluig. It is anticipated that a. very large amount will he cut up during the next- few days. Ample notice of their requirements have been given to His authorities by the consignors, and unless the department officials at once wake tip l« tlm position a. swious loss must ensue should the present fine rather suddenly change.
