SCHOOL ATTENDANCES: A GOOD RECORD.
Sir,-Sometimes I seo records of good school attendances, and Uiink the following list compares favourably with most I hare scon. The scohlars attended this school, and are the children of Mv and Mrs S. Baxter. They hold tlic number of first class certificates against their names—i.e., they attended each of these years without missing an attendance!, having attended every time the school was open, Each of these numbers would have boon inercafxd hy one had not a wedding in the family taken place, when the oliildron were allowed a holiday. The last three are still at school, eo that I think Mr and Mrs Baxter will in a few years ha-vo more first chss attendance certificates in their bouse than can bo found in ajiy otlwr home iu Now Zealand:—Sarah Baxter 7, Maud Baxtar 8, William Baxter 9, Ivato Baxter 9, Anuie Baxter 11, May Baxter 9, Gladys Baxter 6, Mary Baxter 3.—1 am, etc., Jasiks P. Malcolm. Naseby District High School, March 3.
