SUPPOSED WRECKAGE. (PF.U UKITK!} J'UMS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHUIiCIJ, March 1. Large quantities of kauri limber are still coming ashore all along the from Amuri JilulT to the (Ire RiveY. Flaxbourne. It is supposed to be a portion of the cargo of the Rio Loge. It is said that a strong current is now setting in towards the southward. Some days ago the current was eastwards, then for some nays northwards. N'ow i! is southwards. and it is believed that the Rio I.oge derelict lias nol passed Cape Campbell yet. The fishermen here are keeping a sharp lookout at Kaikoura. WELLINGTON, Mai-ch 1. The Amokura- returned to-day from an unsuccessful search lor the submerged object. supposed to he the capsized hull of the Rio i.oge, reported lo have been seen off Kaikoura. The only thing seen was a broken oar.
