I'ROrOSIiD CASTIXU CLUB. Mr Jenkins, in lakiny the t-Jiair at a specially convened meeting of (In; Olago Anglers' Society last evening, said tliey had assembled to wejeome Mr David Solomon, of Sydney, a keen brother wort. Mr Solomon, who was cordially received said ho was endeavouring, in tlie interests of Hie sport, to got Xcw Zealand anglers interested in the formation of clubs similar to the one iu Xcw South. The Chairman suggested that Mr Solomon should give a n exhibition of east in" i-le was sure alt angbvs would be delighted to witness such an exhibition. Mr Solomon .aid he would be pleased to do anything in his power to forward the inliM'wKs of llic sport. Mr J. A. Pari; said he thought the proposal an witerisling and useful one. lie was sure there was a sufficient amount o} enthusiasm to form a very stron<r club 'in Lhmedui. and the proposal should not. be a Mowed to drop. Casting was the scevet of all fishing, and he was sure that Mr Solomons exhibition would he of assistance io alt amateur anglers iu Duncdiii.
