Tho Secretary for Marine has received information that the crew of the missing brigantine Rio Loge consisted of the following persons when she cleared at Kaipara. for Duncdin with timber on January 24:—Captain \V. Spence, aged 55 year/, born in Scotland; first mate, .1. Patoi-son, 38 years, born in .Scotland; second mat*. H. Harnden, 38 years, born in England; engineer, \V. Shinnas. 42 vears, horn in ScotJiind; able seamen—A. Qnisk, 25 years, born in Detimark; K. Anderson, 22 years, bom in Denmark; H. Gottile. 20 years, born in Nine Island ; W. Richards, 51 years, bom in England ; cook, G. A. Huberts, 32 years, born in J.-imaica ; ship's boy, YV. A. Spence, 14 yeare, born in Hunda-bevg (captain's jon);'stewardess, B. J. Spence, 52 years, bom in Scotland (wife of the captain); assistant stewardess, A. B. Spence, 16 vears born in Bimdaberg (daughter of the captain).
