— Lead wool consists of pure lead cut into line strips by machinery, and is put up in pound skeins of yard-loin; Urn-ails. For making tight joints' it is simply kiii in the joint socket and pounded in with a caulking tool. It welds into a solid mass, filling every interstice, and it ensures moro thorough work than resulls from using molten lead.
