If the Senate did not agree to the Government's amendments to the Iron, Bonus Bill it ,would Ift continued without them. v ,The Senate negatived' a proposal to purchase a site in Trafalgar square for the London Commonwealth offices. Mr Fisher subsequently stated'that the matter would- be dropped.
