POVERTY BAY SHOW.
(Pr.a United Phess Association.) ' GISBOR-NE, October 26. The Poverty 'Bay A. and P. Association opened its two days' show- to-day, when there was a large attendance. Tho weather was fine nntil 4 o'clock, when a thunderstorm- tent the people fi curry in °- home. The entries constitute a recortf and the general standard of the show is 'high. In sheep the principal prize-takers are Messrs B. Kjrkpatrick (Lmcolus), W. Jobson (Sbopsliires), C. Mathews (Southdowns), and J. Brimlon (Border Leicester). English Leicester.? were totally -unrepresented. The light liorees were judged to-day, the /classes Wing well tilled and the quality exceptionally good.
