(Received Auguyt"4, at 9.30 p.m.) Tho British ship Maria, upon which Izzot Pasha, who ihas been denounced as Turkey's evil genius, took refuge, has ken ordered to proceed on her voyage, as no extradition treaty exists. Tho chiefs of. the Bulgarian and Albanian bands fraternised at Salonica. The Committee of Union and of Progress is receiving numerous communications demanding tlie withdrawal of the foreign gendarmerie officers now that constitutional order has been established. The committee expresses the hope that the Powers will voluntarily recall their representatives. . Hie committee prevented the Turkish warships which were anchored in the gulf at Salonica leaving for Dedo Agat<;h) though the Sultan had ordered them to leave.
