LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL , WEDNESDAY, JULY 29. The Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Hon. Mr JENKINSON moved--"That thero be laid on the table the evidence, given at tho trial of Clempson at Invercargill, and a report of the presiding judge." Tho motion was agreed to. INCORPORATED SOCIETIES BILL. The Incorporated Societies Bill was read a third time and passed. SOCIETY OF ACCOUNTANTS BILL. The New Zealand Society of Accountants Bill was recommitted, and minor machinery amendments wero made. Tho Council adjourned at 2.55 p.m. till Iriday.
