PROPOSED REFORM IN VICTORIA,

MET/BOURNE, July '29. A bill has been introduced in, the Legislative Council to amend the Marriage Act in the direction of compelling tlnee days' clear notice being given before a marriage can be celebrated. Tho amendment °is aimed at clandestine hasty marriages at matrimonial agencies.
