The Standard says the city expects that the new South Australian loan will be in the shape of a 3£ per cent. loan.
Tile Times states thait, contrary to a cablegram received from Australia, it un-dDiEtands that the negotiations with Lloyd's Bank for the purchase of the South Australian two million loan are not yet concluded.
BRISBANE, July 28. (Received July 29, at 0.15 a.m.) The Acting Premier has been advised that Mr Kideton's negotiations with the Bank of England have resulted in a reduction of the charges in connection with the management of the Queensland loans to the extent of £2500 per annum on existing loans, and a similar amount por million on future flotations.
