Monday, July 27. (Before Mr 0. C. Graham, S.M.) Drunkenness.—Fines of 5s each, >or 24 hours' imprisonment, were imposed on two first otFcndovs for drunkenness. David Johnston and John Roberts wore dealt with in a similar manner, and Sydney Charles Claxon, with previous convictions against him, 'was lined 20s and costs, or seven days' imprisonment, for drunkenness on Sunday. Accused had two bottles of whisky in his po&ossion when arrested. David Morris, who did not appear, was fined £5 aud costs for procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order against him; in default,' three months' imprisonment. — Sub-inspector Norwood stated that when Constable M'Holm went to aecused'6 house he found biin drunk and beer standing in front of him. By-law Cases.—Donald M'Dougall was charged with obstructing tho Anderson's Bn.y cycling pathway by placing his cart across it and causing pedestrians to walk on a roadway which was in a very muddy condition.—Sub-inspector Norwood said defendant refused to move his vehicle when requested to do so.-—A fine of ss, and costs, was imposed.—Frederick Eb?rhardt, for driving a vehicle round tlio corner of Princes and Rattray streets at other than a walking pace, was fined ss, and costs.
