MEETINGS.

The Pioneer Lodge held its usual weekly meeting in the Club House, Bio. E. C. Hutton presiding. The Rescue Lodge paid an official visit. The choir is now an accomplished fact. The report was received of tho visit to the Lily of tho Valley Lodge, 23 members being there. The programme was then carried out by the following:—Sis. Mrs Fergusson, A. Scott, and J. Scott, Bros. Commissiong. Scott, White, Bennett, Barrie, and Dalton. Short- addrcses by Bros. lies 'and Dowic. A very pleasant meeting was then closed with, a sacred song. Visitors were present from Rescue, Star of Freedom, and Hope of Dunedin Lodges. The usual meeting of Trinity Methodist Band of Hooo was hold on Thursday evening. The following took part in the programme:—Miss Faceitt (solo), Iva Duncan (recitation), Miss Elliott (piano solo, encored), Nellie M'Donald (recitation), Miss Boauley (solo), and a dialogue was given by Misses Carey, Maxwell, and Wilson. Miss Elliott was the accompanist, and Mr Bagshaw chairman.
