Ormond, the wellknown squatter of Hawke's Bay, has purchased St. Helens Station, near Pittswor.bh, of 18,000 acres, for £60,000. He has other Queensland properties under offer. Pittsworth is situated 137 miles from Brisbane, and 36 miles from Toowoomba, and is tlio present terminus of the railway. St. Helens is ono of the principal sheep stations in the district.
