A private cablegram states that «l the atnual meeting of the Talisman Gold Mining Company George Wilson was appointed ae a director. It is proposed to appoint Mr Stafford as a director at the board meeting to be held next week. The former wa6 recommended by tJio Wellington Committee, and the latter by the Auckland Committee.' HESSEY'S GOLD DREDGING CO. At an extraordinary meeting of tlio Hessey Co. the' following resolution was passed;—" That Hesscy's (kild Dredging Company (Ltd.) be wound up voluntarily, and that William Edwin Charles Reid be, and he is hereby, appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up." The resolution will be submitted for confirmation as a special resolution at a second extraordinary meeting. i ■.
