OTAGO ANNUAL REGATTA.
Iho entries recoived on Saturday for this popular fixture proved luoet gratifying, and constituted a record. Large cntrids were received lor all the principal .events, 26 entries having been reecivcd for the motor boat events and eight entries for the First Olass Yacht Race. Additional interest ccntroa in the latter event by reason of the fact that Professor Scott's er?.ck yaeht Yvonne is included in the entrants. The committee has all arrangements well in hand, and reports having received most gratifying support ill Duuediii and Port. Chalmers, it being setter this year than any previous year for this event. The entries, which include three from Oamaru for various events, are as follow: — First Class Yachts—Aimis, Tucana, Matua, Thelma, Leader, AVaimana, Carina, Yvonne.
