Mr llorifzson, tlio rice-president of tho Duiiedin Horticultural Society, informs us that tiio ontric3 for tho ro?o show promise to 1)3 very heavy, and tho committee looks forward lo ono of the finest shows over held in Bunediii. The season haa taen a particularly lino ono for roses, ami an early one. but, notwithstanding this fact, the finest blooms will just bo ready in time for the show, which will be held in the new Art Gallery building. Mr Moritzson also mentions that at previous shows many incorrectly-named roses liiive Ikvii exhibited and disqualified, or no prizaj awarded; Exhibitors are requested to pay particular attention to the correct naming of their rosea. Tlio committee looks forward to the usual lnrge attendance, us special caro has been taken to prevent over-crowding. Tho Art Gallery trustees bavo consented to throw open their wfc gallery proper, chairs will be provided for the wear) , , and the Droko family, who will dispense both vocal and orchestra! music, will be heard all over the tlureo balls.
