NEW YORK, August 16. The Telegraphists' Union of Chicugo has ordered all men engaged on commercial telegraphs to strike immediately where contracts with the Western Union Company have not been signed,
The concluding messnjre of the scries quoted by us on Saturday with respect to tho strike of tologruphist's in the United States was evidently much too sanguine. The department, is now advised that no message is to lie accepted for tho United Slates. The difficulty affects Honolulu, tho West Indies, and South America by all routes except Bermuda, and tho Azores. British and Ciinadin.ii traffic is not affected.
