IN MEMORIAM.

ROSS.—In loving memory of our, darling Rola, who died at Winton, Southland, on the 20th July, 1306, aged two years three months.

Plucked as a rosebud to blcoin in God's own garden— A bud tbe_ Gardener gave us, a pure and lovely child. Ho gave it to our keeping to cherish undefiled; ■ But just as it was opening to the glory of the day Down came our Heavenly Gardener and took our bud away.
