MELBOURNE, July 17. At the Federal Government House exrailway fireman Pearce -was presented with tho Albeit- Medal of ths first class for conspicuous bravery in crawling through boiling water and. steam and rescuing the drivor of a derailed engineat Newcastle in December, 1905.
