PRESBYTERY OF DUNEDIN.
The ordinary meeting "of the Dunedin Presbytery was held yesterday morning in First Church Hall. The Key. D. Maelennan (Moderator) was in the chair. TUB OUTLOOK. After a discussion in private on the motion of the Rev. J. Chisholin, several recommendations from a Special Publications Committee wcro adopted. The principal remits agreed to were—" (N That the Assembly should at once seriously face the question of securing an editor who shall devoto his whole time to the Outlook, and rcceivo adequate remuneration ' for his work; (2) that duo regard shall bo had in the Outlook to the interests of our Presbyterian Church,-its life, its work,_ and the distinctive doctrines and principles for which it stands." SABBATII SOHOOLS' COMMITTEE. The roport of the Sabbath Schools.' Coin-' mitteo was real by tho' Rov. I. K. H'lntyre. A meeting for tlio purpose of considering tho- advisability of iforming a Sivbbatli S'chools' Association had been held, and an association constituted to be under the control of the Presbytery and tho General Assembly. It was resolved— 1 " That the constitution as amended be approved, and that the' Presbytery express its gratification at the interest shown in our Sabbath school work, and it requests that information as to the work contemplated should bo brought before it by the Sabbath Committee from time to time; and that this interim constitution now approved by the Presbytory lie referred to tlio Church Comrnittco for further consideration." SIINDAT SCHOOL EXAMINATIONS. Tho Rev.. J. J. Cairney announced that tho Sunday school examinations were to ba held on July 12. ■ Ministers wore expected to supervise examinations,
