Commander Colquhonn and Engineercommandei' Clarkson, who were despatched by the Commonwealth Government on a mission in connection with tlio future of

the Australian navy, havo arrived in London. They visited Japan, and made an inspection of the naval works and torpedo fleet. In Canada they inspected tho small amis factories, and made general inquiries in the United States.
