Tho ATTORNEY-GENERAL (Dr Findlay) moved a resolution recording an expression of the Council at the great less sustained in the death of tho lato Attorney-General (the Hon. A. Pitt) and tho sympathy of (lie Council with tho family of tho deceased. Dr Findluy briefly outlined Colonel Pitt's public career, and spoke in eulogistic terms of the Mjrvioes he had rendorod to the State, his high sense of public duty, and his kindly and courteous disposition. Tho Hons. T. Kelly, Macdonald, Camcross, Fold wick, Beehan,, lialdcy, Holmes, Lonisson, Reoves, and Thompson also spoko in eulogy of the deceased Minister. • The motion was carried, alt the councillors rising as it was put. /I'he ATTORNEY-GENERAL moved a, similar resolution respecting tho deaths of tho Hons. Tho Hons. T. Kelly, Ownerom, Dalian, Louglman, Paul, and Feldwiok also spoko to tho motion, wliioh was carried. Tho ATTORNEY-GENERAL then moved a resolution expressing tho senso of the colony's loss in tho death of Sir John Hall and appreciation of tho great 6crvices 119 bad rendored to tho country. The Hon. 0. 0. LOUISSON seconded tho motion, and tho Hobs. "W. 0. SMITH ami G. J. SMITH laving also spoken, tho motion iv.is carried. Tho ATTORNEY- GENERAL then moved that, the Counoil at its rising adjourn until Wednesday next at 2.30 as a mark of respect to the memory of tho Into Hons. A. Pitt, AV. Sr. Bolt, L. Walker, of tho Council; and Messrs K. M. Smith, and M. M. Kirkbride, of tho House. This was carried. IMPREST.SUPPLY BILL..
