Pickering is a cabdriver, and liayliss a clerk. Tiio former charged I'iyliss with tryinfj to poison people's minds against him, and ho struck him on the jaw, breaking it.» Bayliss eaid he had simply told a girl who was a relative of his not to drive about with Pickering, because he. was a cabdriver. Tho bench held that the latter had great provocation, and fined him £5 and costs.
