SYDNEY. June 11. (Received June 11, at 11.11 p.m.) Christina Clark, ex-general secretary of the New South Wales Temperance Alliance, sued William Winn, a member of the Alliance, for £1000 as damages for statements reflecting on her moral character. The jury awarded £650.
