A CHARGE DISMISSED.

(Pes United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 6. Dr M'Arthur, S.M., to-day delivered reserved judgment in the case in which Thomas M'Kinnon, manager of tho New Zealand Truth newspaper, was oharged with having sold sundry copies of a paper par 1 of the contents of which was of an indecent, immoral, and obscene nature. The magistrate hold that, as M'Kinnon was absent from Wellington at tho time of publication, and had no opportunity of reasonably knowing the contents of Iho article, tho information should be dismissed.
