TEACHERS' SALARIES.
PROPOSALS FOR IMPROVEMENT. (Per United Press Association.) INYKRCAKGILL, May 6. A large and representative meeting of teachers passed resolutions expressing profound dissatisfaction with the present scale of salaries, in which tho average attendance is tlie sole determining factor. The leading principles for an approved scheme, were affirmed, tho chief being a email number o[ grades of schools, poriodio increments for length .of efficient service, and such adjustment as will raise tho pay of the rank and file of the profession.
