Mr Buddo has telegraphed to tho Minister of labour as Follows: —" Ka'apoi and llangiora traders with a shop and factory combined will be greatly inconvenienced by the . withdrawal of permits to hold the weekly > half-holiday on the one day. Business men of both towns would welcome a universal Saturday' half-holiday, but small traders will be tied to business six days a. week unless one half-holiday does shop and factory, and I respectfully ask that tho present system be extended till Parliament mccto and something definite is decided."
