Breach of a- Prohibition Order.—William Kseuaii. was charged with having procured liquor on April 1G during tl'o curroncy of a prohibition order against him.— I The polico report showed, that Keenan hod been twice fined for drunkenness last week. On the first occasion a? prohibition order was granted against accused upon the application of the ■police. On the following day he W(\s : agaiir .anested for being drunk, aud aoveral bottics of liquor v/cro then found in his possession.— Mr Wise appeared for accused, who pleaded " G'nilty."—lrf extenuation counsel- oxplainccE tliftt (ho offence was committed -whilst'on o, dririlring bout, for -which he hid already been •fined • twice.—The Magistrate stated ' that ,'in viow ; of counsel's pica, he would! take tha previous froca into consideration, otherwise he would' Wo dealt more severely withaccused.—A lino of £2, and costs (7s), was imposed.
