This is the oltl bore which was sunk some years ago, but was destroyed by (ire, unci is now being cleared out. A depth of ]614i't has been reached, and to-day oil comrnenccd to 007,0 out of tho pipes, five barrels being collected before tho work ceased for tho dav.
