WELLINGTON,- April 24. Among tho 185 passengers that came in the. third class bv the Carinthic were 163 from Great Britain. These settler-5 intend •going to various parts of Now Zealand— 35 to Auckland, 28 to Lyttclton, 20 to Port Chalmers, 15 to Gitbcrne, 18 to Napier, 4_ to New Plymouth, 2 to Timaru, 1 to Nelson, 1 to Greymonth, and 44 to Wellington. Assisted immigrants numbering 78 comprise farm-workers, minors, gardeners, carpenters, and so on. During t-lic run of the steamer from London a child named Julia Joseph, four monlli6 old, daughter of a third-class passenger booked for Na-pier, died, and was buried at sea on the 19th April.
