LABOUR TROUBLES
STRIKES IN NEW SOUTH WALES. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. ' _ SYDNEY, April 12. ' All the miners in the Cobar district have struck. The men demanded the reinstatement of some strikers in the Occi-. dental mine. The demand was rejected, but tlis men were given work in the Chesney mine. The coal-carriers refuse to work under a certain foreman, who, they allege, gave: evidence in the Arbitration Court inimical to their interest. As a result coaling operations on tho Orient S.S. Company's steamer have been suspended. An effort will bo made to secure free labour this morning.
