Tho Arthur Street Club opened the season on Monday night, when thero swas an attendance of IS membors. After soveral Sandow exercises, • squads under Captain King and Instructor Downes weio put through the various movements on the horizontal, parallels, and horee. Tho club is fortunate- in having R, Downes as dnatruetor. He "is a very'fine gymnast, and ■should-bo-a fircat help in practising competition work.
