(Per Uxrren Press Association.) WELLINGTON. March 18. The lawn tennis match Canterbury v. Wellington was played to-day in the Central Drillshod. owing to wet weather. The cramped conditions told against- good play. Wellington won.by six sets lo three, or 75 games' to 62. The following are the scores, the Wellington players being mentioned first in each ease: — Singles: C. C. Cox v. Aitken. 9-3; Laishlev v. Borrows, B—9; Smvihe v. Kiver.'6-9; Gore v.
