LONDON. March 18. (Received March 18, at 11.32 p.m.) Tho steamer" Sucvic struck the rock under the lighthouse at Lizard Point during ;i fog on Sunday night. A rough south-west gait! was Mowing. Three lifeboats have been sent, but no danger to lifo is anticipated. Tugs have been summoned to assist. (Received March 18, at 11.48 p.m.) At 5 o'clock in the morning tho 103 passengers and tho crew of 160 were gradually landed, the lifeboats assisting the Suevic boats in the work of landing; The inhabitants of the neighbourhood provided every comfort for the passengers and crew, many of the women and children being brought ashore soon after the accident. Splendid discipline was maintained, and everybody was saved.
