SALARIES OF MINISTERS.
BOTHA'S VISIT TO ENGLAND,

The rest of tlio Ministry receive £3000 apiece. i Mr De iWet objects to the. Premier's visit to London to attend the Imperial Conference, first, because he ought to attend the full session of the Transvaal Parliament, and learn the state of public npipjqn ; and, second, the Orange River Colony plight to liiive been considered.
The salaries of the Transvaal Ministers, compared \yith these paid to Ministers in other British colonics, am on a very'liberal scale. The Primo Minister of Canada receives £2900. anil in the Australian Commonwealth tho Primo Minister receives £2100, and the other Ministers £1650 each.
